Uiryeong: A 2.1 magnitude earthquake struck South Korea’s eastern county of Uiryeong, South Gyeongsang Province, on Sunday, as reported by the weather agency.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the earthquake occurred at 9:54 a.m., approximately 20 kilometers north-northeast of Uiryeong County. The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) identified the epicenter at a latitude of 35.48 degrees north and a longitude of 128.31 degrees east, with a depth of 10 kilometers.
The KMA stated that the earthquake was unlikely to cause any damage.
