KG Mobility, formerly known as SsangYong Motor Co., said Wednesday it recorded a slight growth in sales last year driven by increased overseas demand.KG Mobility's annual vehicle sales stood at 116,428 vehicles last month, up 2.2 percent from a year earlier, the company said in a statement.Domestic sales fell 7.7 percent on-year to 63,345 units while exports soared 17.2 percent to 53,083 units. The company's best-selling models overseas were the Rexton Sports, Korando and Torres models.The company said it managed to strengthen overseas shipments by actively releasing new vehicle products despite a contraction in the domestic automobile market in the second half of 2023.Source: Yonhap News Agency
