LG Energy Solution flags 58 pct plunge in Q2 operating profit

LG Energy Solution Ltd. on Monday estimated its second-quarter operating profit at 195.3 billion won (US$141.6 million), down 57.6 percent from a year earlier.Revenue decreased 29.8 percent to 6.16 trillion won. The data for net earnings was not available.The operating profit was 16.4 percent lower than the average estimate, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.The company will release its final earnings report later.Source: Yonhap News Agency
