Hyundai Motor Co., Kia Corp. and two other carmakers will voluntarily recall nearly 920,000 vehicles due to faulty components, the transport ministry said Wednesday.The four companies, including Scania Group Korea and Man Truck and Bus Korea, are recalling a combined 917,547 units of 13 different models, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said in a statement.The problems that prompted the recall include a possible fire caused by faulty hydraulic electronic control units in Hyundai Motor's Grandeur sedan and Kia's Mohave SUV, and a possible fire due to faulty crankshaft main bearings in Man Truck and Bus' TGS dump truck, it said.Vehicle owners can check the government's homepage at www.car.go.kr or call 080-357-2500 to see if their vehicles are subject to the recall, the ministry said.Source: Yonhap News Agency
