seoul: The latest KOSPI 200 closing prices reveal a mixed performance among listed companies, with several experiencing declines while others posted gains. Notable declines included POSCO Future M, which fell by 19,500 to 216,500, and KorZinc, which dropped by 27,000 to a closing price of 1,230,000. Other companies such as SK saw a significant decrease of 3,100, closing at 149,000, and LGCHEM, which ended at 305,500 after a decline of 16,500.According to Yonhap News Agency, there were also positive movements in the market, with HD HYUNDAI MIPO seeing a rise of 6,200 to close at 110,000, and HDKSOE which increased by 4,100 to 185,800. HyundaiElev and Korea Aerospace also showed notable gains, closing at 47,400 and 60,600 respectively after increases of 1,750 and 1,700. Additionally, SKTelecom rose by 1,000 to reach 57,500, and LS ELECTRIC experienced an increase of 2,400, closing at 148,700.The data also highlighted other declines, including in companies like SamyangFood which decreased by 3,000 to 599,000 , and TCC STEEL which saw a decline of 3,700, ending at 39,000. In contrast, SamsungHvyInd and MS IND reported slight gains, closing at 9,920 and 14,260 respectively, with increases of 300 and 400.
