The participants included members from the Capital Defense Command, alongside police and fire department units from Seocho, a southern district of the capital. The drill simulated a drone attack on an air defense unit, providing a realistic training scenario to enhance preparedness.During the exercise, soldiers, police officers, and firefighters collaborated to execute a coordinated response. Their efforts focused on rescuing individuals injured in the simulated explosion, extinguishing fires, and locating and apprehending terror suspects. The drills underscore the importance of inter-agency cooperation in addressing such threats. This strategic exercis e follows an incident in December 2022, when five North Korean drones breached South Korean airspace. The military is keen on reinforcing its defenses to prevent similar infiltrations and ensure the safety of Seoul's residents.
