Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced varied movements as several major stocks closed with notable changes. Among the stocks that posted gains, Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. and Doosan led the pack with significant increases of 5,000, closing at 264,500 and 218,000, respectively. Other notable performers included KPIC, which rose by 2,000 to finish at 89,600, and GC Corp, climbing 2,700 to end at 134,600.According to Yonhap News Agency, despite positive performances from some companies, several stocks recorded losses. Samsung Biologics saw a decline of 6,000, closing at 932,000, while Dentium fell by 2,400 to 56,000. Additionally, CJ Logistics and Kumyang experienced decreases of 2,100 and 1,450, closing at 79,200 and 27,950, respectively.Other stocks such as GS E and C and Lotte Shopping saw upward trends, with GS E and C increasing by 650 to reach 18,450, and Lotte Shopping up 1,700, closing at 58,300. On the other hand, SKBP and KCC witnessed declines, with SKBP down 300 to 97,600 and KCC dropping by 500 to 233,000.The report also highlighted that some stocks remained unchanged, such as SKNetworks at 4,425 and Ottogi at 401,500. These mixed movements reflect a day of varied trading activity within the KOSPI 200 index.
