This significant development marks the potential appointment of the first female CEO among Samsung Group affiliates, as stated by the company on Wednesday.According to Yonhap News Agency, Kim Kyung-ah is well-versed in the field of biosimilars, holding both bachelor's and master's degrees in pharmacology from Seoul National University and a doctorate from Johns Hopkins University. Kim's journey with Samsung began in 2010 when she joined as a biopharmaceutical researcher, and she has been with Samsung Bioepis since 2015.
