KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements with Notable Gains and Losses

SEOUL: The KOSPI 200 index reflected mixed market sentiments, as several companies experienced significant price movements at the close of trading. Notable gains were observed in companies like SeAH Steel Holdings and Daewoong, while others such as Nongshim and Ottogi faced declines, indicating varied performance across different sectors.

According to Yonhap News Agency, SeAH Steel Holdings closed at 180,500 won, marking an increase of 1,900 won. Daewoong also saw a substantial rise, with its shares up by 1,150 won, closing at 21,600 won. On the other hand, Nongshim and Ottogi experienced declines, with Nongshim's shares dropping by 9,500 won to close at 374,000 won, and Ottogi decreasing by 5,000 won to settle at 395,500 won.

Other notable movements include LG Corp. and SK hynix, which saw their shares decrease by 1,400 won and 600 won, respectively. LG Corp. closed at 72,000 won, while SK hynix ended the day at 173,900 won. In contrast, Shinsegae and Doosan Robotics posted gains, with Shinsegae increasing by 1,600 won to 133,000 won and Doosan Robotics rising by the same amount to close at 52,300 won.
