SEOUL: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a day of mixed trading on Monday, with several key stocks seeing notable fluctuations in their closing prices. Among the stocks, HANALL BIOPHARMA saw a significant rise, closing up 5,100 KRW, while NCsoft led the declines, dropping 8,500 KRW.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the index reflected a variety of performances across sectors. HANALL BIOPHARMA had a standout performance, gaining 5,100 KRW, marking one of the largest increases of the day. NAVER also posted gains, closing up by 1,200 KRW. Other companies such as Kogas and Hyundai Rotem saw increases of 550 KRW and 950 KRW, respectively, contributing to the positive momentum in certain sectors.
However, the day was not favorable for all. NCsoft experienced the steepest decline, with its shares falling by 8,500 KRW. Other notable decreases included SamsungF and MIns, which lost 6,500 KRW, and SK, which dropped by 3,600 KRW. Samsung Life and KT also faced declines, losing 2,400 KRW and 1,150 KRW, respectively.
