Las Vegas: Samsung Electronics Co. on Sunday unveiled a new high-end TV with more enhanced artificial intelligence (AI) features, focusing on interactive and personalized services.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the flagship 2025 Neo QLED 8K TV, featuring the NQ8 AI Gen 3 AI processor and the company's AI-based neural quantum processor technologies, was premiered at a showcase named "The First Look" in Las Vegas. This event took place before the annual tech show CES, which is set to begin on Tuesday.
Samsung Electronics stated that the model embodies the company's vision to transform screens into adaptive, intelligent companions aimed at simplifying and enriching everyday living. With AI-based processing, the TV upgrades content to 8K resolution, delivering vibrant visuals with enhanced contrast, color, and brightness.
The new product also incorporates three-dimensional audio technology, Eclipsa Audio, developed in collaboration with Google. This technology provides an immersive 3D sound experience by dynamically adjusting audio data, including sound location, intensity, and spatial reflections.
Samsung Electronics also introduced "Vision AI," a concept designed to personalize viewing experiences by analyzing viewer preferences, habits, and needs to offer tailored recommendations. Additional features include "Click to Search," which allows users to access information on-screen instantly, and "Live Translate," a program that offers real-time subtitle translation for global content.
Furthermore, the screen can transform into a dynamic art canvas, enabling users to display personalized images that match their taste and occasion. Samsung Electronics emphasized that its products deliver enhanced and customer-focused AI services through collaborations with global big tech companies, including Microsoft and Google.
The new smart TVs and monitors integrate Microsoft Copilot, a generative AI chatbot, which provides personalized content recommendations and other user-friendly functionalities.
