Seoul: North Korea fired an unidentified ballistic missile toward the East Sea on Monday, South Korea's military said. The Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) confirmed the launch but withheld further details, stating that an analysis is under way.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the North last fired multiple short-range ballistic missiles on November 5, as reported by the JCS. This recent launch occurs just two weeks before U.S. President-elect Donald Trump is set to take office on January 20.
