Korea Interbank Offered Rates Show Minimal Changes

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) displayed slight fluctuations in the latest session, as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m. The rates offer insights into the prevailing lending conditions within the South Korean banking sector.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week and 1-month KORIBOR rates remained stable at 3.00% and 3.04%, respectively. The 2-month rate experienced a minor decrease to 3.07% from the previous session's 3.08%. Similarly, the 3-month and 6-month rates both saw slight decreases, with the 3-month rate dropping to 3.10% from 3.11% and the 6-month rate falling to 3.08% from 3.09%.

The 12-month KORIBOR rate also experienced a small decline, moving to 2.85% from the previous 2.86%. These minor adjustments in the rates reflect the current lending environment and can influence financial decisions and policies within South Korea.
