Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a day of mixed trading, with several key companies showing significant changes in stock prices. Notably, KUMHOTIRE saw a modest rise, closing at 4,900, up by 15. Meanwhile, Korea Aerospace recorded an increase, ending the day at 53,000, up by 200. On the other hand, Samsung SDS dropped to 123,600, a decrease of 700.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Celltrion faced a considerable decline, closing at 180,700, down by 3,800. Hyundai Rotem also experienced a decrease, finishing at 56,300, down by 1,100. In contrast, Hyundai Glovis saw an improvement, with its stock price rising to 129,500, up by 300. Daewoong Pharm, however, decreased to 128,600, down by 3,100.
Other notable movements included LG Electronics maintaining its position at 84,300 with no change, while Hyundai Dept Store advanced to 47,550, up by 950. Hana Financial Group faced a slight dip, closing at 57,800, down by 200. Meanwhile, Hanwha Life remained steady at 2,500, with no change.
AmorePacific closed at 114,100, down by 1,200, and SK Innovation saw a drop, ending at 125,100, down by 2,100. Youngone Corp experienced a small increase, closing at 40,650, up by 100. Poongsan declined to 52,900, down by 200, while KB Financial Group improved, closing at 89,900, up by 1,100.
CS Wind and Hansae also saw declines, closing at 40,050, down by 300, and 13,340, down by 120, respectively. GKL, however, showed improvement, ending at 11,920, up by 190. Kolon Industries remained unchanged at 27,350.
Further declines were observed in Hyundai Engineering and Construction at 25,900, down by 150, and Doosan Fuel Cell at 16,740, down by 440. LG Display and Hanon Systems also faced decreases, closing at 9,050, down by 60, and 4,335, down by 60, respectively.
Doosan Enerbility, on the other hand, increased to 20,300, up by 200. LG Chem saw a notable drop, closing at 240,000, down by 4,500, while NAVER showed a significant rise, ending at 206,500, up by 4,500.
