Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) showed stability in most terms, as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial arm of Yonhap News Agency, during the latest trading session. The rates, which reflect the average interest rates at which banks are willing to lend to one another, were posted at 11:00 a.m.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the rates for the 1-week and 1-month terms remained unchanged at 3.00% and 3.02%, respectively. The 2-month term experienced a slight decrease, moving from 3.04% to 3.03%. A similar trend was observed in the 3-month term, which decreased from 3.06% to 3.05%. Meanwhile, the 6-month term held steady at 3.03%.
The 12-month term saw a minor dip, with rates dropping from 2.84% to 2.83%. These figures indicate a general steadiness in short-term borrowing costs, with slight downward adjustments in medium to long-term rates.
