Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index revealed a range of outcomes as it closed, showcasing gains for some companies while others saw declines. Leading the charge in gains, Doosan's stock price surged by 13,000 to close at 296,000, and SeAH Steel Holdings reported a significant increase of 5,500, reaching a final price of 223,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other notable performances included F and F, which rose by 700 to settle at 63,300, and Coway, which increased by 2,200 to close at 80,500. Meanwhile, companies like SK Square and Doosan Robotics also experienced growth, with respective increases of 500 and 1,600.
Conversely, several companies faced declines. CosmoAM and T saw a decrease of 7,100, closing at 54,000, and SamaAlum experienced a drop of 2,600, finishing at 35,450. SK and HyundaiMtr also faced reductions, with SK falling by 2,500 to 144,500 and HyundaiMtr decreasing by 2,000 to settle at 206,500.
Some companies remained unchanged, such as KIA Corp. at 101,000, DONGSUH at 24,550, and LOTTE SHOPPING at 53,600. The varying performances across the KOSPI 200 indicate a mixed but dynamic market environment as investors navigate ongoing economic conditions.
