Seoul: Samsung C and T Corp. on Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter net income of 655.8 billion won (US$456.2 million), marking a 14.8 percent increase from the previous year. The company's financial performance showed significant growth in net profit despite a slight decline in sales.
According to Yonhap News Agency, operating income for the October-December period was 634.6 billion won, reflecting a 1.2 percent rise from the previous year. However, sales experienced a slight decrease, falling 1.1 percent to 9.99 trillion won. This performance highlights the company's ability to enhance profitability even amid a slight reduction in sales revenue.
