Seoul: LG Electronics Inc. on Thursday reported its 2024 net income of 591.4 billion won (US$411.6 million), marking a decline of 48.6 percent from the previous year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that it achieved an operating profit of 3.41 trillion won for the year, compared with 3.65 trillion won from the year before. Despite the decrease in net income and operating profit, LG Electronics saw its annual sales increase by 6.6 percent, reaching 87.72 trillion won.
