KORIBOR Rates Remain Steady Across Most Terms

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) have shown minimal fluctuations across various terms, maintaining stability in the South Korean financial market. As of 11:00 a.m., the rates were posted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week and 6-month KORIBOR rates remained unchanged at 3.00% from the previous session. The 1-month rate experienced a slight decrease from 3.01% to 3.00%, and the 2-month rate marginally decreased from 3.02% to 3.01%. The 3-month rate also saw a minimal decline from 3.03% to 3.02%. Meanwhile, the 12-month rate stayed consistent at 2.87%.

These figures reflect a stable economic environment with minor shifts in interest rates. The consistency in the 12-month rate and the slight fluctuations in shorter-term rates indicate balanced liquidity in the interbank market.
