London: "APT.," the smash hit single from BLACKPINK singer Rose, held its No. 2 position on the British Official Singles Chart Top 100 for the sixth consecutive week. It remained in second place just behind Lola Young's "Messy," according to the latest chart released Friday (British time).
According to Yonhap News Agency, the song initially debuted at No. 4 in October last year. Featuring global pop icon Bruno Mars, "APT." has experienced a roller-coaster journey on the chart. After dropping to a low of No. 28, the single made an impressive comeback by climbing to the No. 2 spot and holding steady for six weeks, benefiting from the decline of Christmas carols early last month.
Meanwhile, "Who" by Jimin of BTS ranked 23rd, marking its 23rd week on the chart. The track is the lead song from the BTS member's second solo album, "Muse," which delves into the singer's search for inspiration.
Also making waves is "Love Hangover," a prerelease track from BLACKPINK member Jennie's upcoming first full-length individual album, which debuted at No. 64. Released on Jan. 31, "Love Hangover" features American singer-songwriter Dominic Fike and explores the emotional turmoil of an irresistible yet toxic attraction.
