Seoul: Monday witnessed a varied performance among KOSPI 200 stocks on the Korea Stock Exchange, with some companies experiencing gains while others faced declines. Closing prices revealed a complex landscape for investors to navigate.
According to Yonhap News Agency, AmoreG closed at 21,700 KRW, a decrease of 300 KRW. HyundaiMtr saw a decrease, closing at 199,400 KRW, down by 1,100 KRW. In contrast, KCC closed at 271,500 KRW, marking an increase of 8,500 KRW. SKBP also experienced a decline, ending the day at 124,700 KRW, down by 3,200 KRW.
Additionally, TCC STEEL closed up by 100 KRW at 24,700 KRW. LotteChilsung saw an increase, closing at 102,700 KRW, up by 1,700 KRW. YoulchonChem ended the day at 33,550 KRW, marking an increase of 1,250 KRW. LG Energy Solution experienced a significant rise, closing at 346,500 KRW, up by 10,500 KRW.
On the other hand, HYOSUNG HEAVY faced a decrease, closing at 488,000 KRW, down by 15,000 KRW. HtlShilla and Hanmi Science both saw increases, closing at 39,600 KRW and 28,100 KRW, respectively. SamsungElecMech closed at 144,100 KRW, up by 5,600 KRW, while Hanssem saw a decline, closing at 44,800 KRW, down by 500 KRW.
F and F marked an increase, closing at 68,600 KRW, up by 1,600 KRW. HANALL BIOPHARMA also ended the day higher at 42,250 KRW, up by 500 KRW. Meanwhile, Kogas closed at 30,100 KRW, a decrease of 450 KRW, and SamsungF and MIns saw a decline, closing at 366,000 KRW, down by 4,000 KRW.
Other notable changes included HDKSOE closing down by 7,000 KRW at 218,500 KRW, with HANWHA SOLUTIONS and YoungoneHoldings closing at 19,890 KRW and 84,000 KRW, respectively. OCI Holdings and HD HYUNDAI MIPO faced declines, closing at 77,000 KRW and 108,400 KRW, respectively. LS ELECTRIC ended the day at 208,500 KRW, down by 9,000 KRW.
KorZinc experienced a decline, closing at 760,000 KRW, down by 24,000 KRW. SamsungHvyInd closed at 12,590 KRW, down by 180 KRW. Doosan Robotics remained unchanged at 69,800 KRW, while SKSQUARE ended the day at 93,200 KRW, down by 2,200 KRW.
HYBE closed up by 3,500 KRW at 238,000 KRW, and ECOPRO MAT saw an increase, closing at 68,000 KRW, up by 900 KRW. SK ie technology ended the day at 23,500 KRW, up by 600 KRW. DL E and C closed at 37,250 KRW, up by 350 KRW.
Finally, kakaopay closed at 31,850 KRW, down by 200 KRW, while DONGSUH and Kangwonland closed at 22,800 KRW and 15,910 KRW, respectively. KT and G faced a decrease, closing at 108,300 KRW, down by 900 KRW. SamsungE and A, however, closed up by 170 KRW at 17,830 KRW.
