Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed varied movements in its closing prices, reflecting the fluctuating trends in the South Korean stock market. Notable changes were observed in several companies, including gains and losses in share prices across different sectors.
According to Yonhap News Agency, HS Hyosung Advanced saw an increase of 2,300, closing at 198,500. On the other hand, Doosan Bobcat experienced a decline of 550, ending at 46,600. Netmarble's shares rose by 650, reaching a closing price of 46,100. Meanwhile, KRAFTON's stock fell by 2,500, settling at 375,000.
The trading session also saw HD Hyundai drop by 1,000 to 76,700, while HD Hyundai Electric surged by 7,500 to close at 386,000. Orion and Hanwha Systems both saw upward movements, with increases of 400 and 500, finishing at 104,900 and 25,300, respectively.
APR reported a significant rise of 3,150, closing at 51,500, whereas WooriFinancialGroup saw a modest increase of 90, ending at 16,400. KakaoBank's stock price climbed by 450, reaching 23,600. In contrast, SKBS experienced a decrease of 450, closing at 48,400.
SKBP shares rose by 1,300 to settle at 126,000, while KCC faced a decline of 5,000, closing at 266,500. HD Hyundai Heavy Industries saw a gain of 5,000, ending the session at 306,000. LS also reported an increase of 900, closing at 111,800.
HYBE experienced a notable rise of 7,500, reaching a closing price of 245,500. SK ie technology faced a slight decline of 100, finishing at 23,400. F and F's shares dropped by 900, closing at 67,700, whereas Hanssem saw a minor decrease of 50, ending at 44,750.
Meanwhile, DL E and C reported an increase of 150, closing at 37,400. SKSQUARE and ECOPRO MAT also witnessed gains, with increases of 100 and 1,800, respectively, closing at 93,300 and 69,800. KakaoPay's stock rose by 450, ending at 32,300.
Doosan Robotics saw a decline of 700, closing at 69,100, while OCI's shares increased by 200, finishing at 62,400. Hanwha Vision experienced a significant rise of 1,850, closing at 41,100. KAL and Yuhan both faced declines, with decreases of 300 each, closing at 23,600 and 135,700, respectively.
MiwonComcl reported a rise of 3,500, closing at 176,000, whereas SeAH Steel Holdings saw a decline of 1,000, ending at 210,000. Daewoong's shares dropped by 600, closing at 20,950, and SLCORP faced a decrease of 1,000, finishing at 28,300.
