Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index exhibited mixed trends as several companies experienced fluctuations in their closing prices. Notable increases were observed in stocks such as Samsung C and T and Lotte Wellfood, while others like Cosmax and Hyundai Rotem saw declines.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung C and T experienced a significant rise, closing at 130,100 with an increase of 1,200. Lotte Wellfood also saw a notable gain, with its stock price climbing by 3,100 to reach 115,600. Other companies such as SK and LGCHEM also reported increases in their stock prices, closing at 148,600 and 255,500, with gains of 500 and 4,500, respectively.
On the other hand, Cosmax recorded a substantial decrease, with its stock price falling by 7,500 to 153,700. Hyundai Rotem also faced a decline, closing at 86,200 with a decrease of 4,800. Other companies like Doosan Enerbility and Hanwha Ocean experienced declines of 850 and 1,500, respectively.
The overall market movements indicate varied performances across different sectors, with some companies achieving gains while others faced losses.
