South Korean Bond Yields Experience Slight Decline Across All Categories

Seoul: South Korean bond yields experienced a slight decline across all categories on the morning of March 18, 2025. The yields for various Treasury Bonds (TB) and Monetary Stabilization Bonds (MSB) showed a downward trend, indicating a shift in the market.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year Treasury Bond yield decreased by 0.8 basis points from the previous session to 2.601%. Meanwhile, the 2-year Treasury Bond yield fell by 0.7 basis points, settling at 2.663%. The 3-year Treasury Bond yield also saw a reduction of 0.4 basis points, closing at 2.597%.

The 10-year Treasury Bond yield experienced a decline of 1.6 basis points, ending at 2.789%. In the case of the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond, the yield decreased by 0.9 basis points to 2.637%. Moreover, the 3-year Corporate Bond (AA-) yield fell by 0.5 basis points, reaching 3.166%.
