Seoul: The Constitutional Court has announced that it will deliver its ruling on President Yoon Suk Yeol's impeachment related to his brief attempt to declare martial law. The court will announce its decision at 11 a.m. on Friday.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the ruling will be delivered from the court's premises, with provisions for live broadcasts. The public will also be permitted to attend the session, as stated in a notice delivered to the press on Tuesday. Rep. Jung Chung-rai of the main opposition Democratic Party was the first to reveal the scheduled time and date on his Facebook page, citing that he received official communication from the court. Jung is a member of the National Assembly's impeachment panel.
