Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a day of mixed trading activities as several companies registered both gains and declines across varied sectors. The closing price list indicated fluctuations with significant movements observed in the aerospace and electronics sectors.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanwha Aerospace and HDKSOE were among the companies witnessing upward trends. Hanwha Aerospace saw a notable increase, closing at 824,000, up by 10,000, while HDKSOE climbed by 16,000 to settle at 249,500. Meanwhile, Samsung SDS also marked a significant rise, closing at 124,300, up by 5,100.
On the downside, LG Energy Solution experienced a substantial decrease, closing at 341,500, down by 7,500. Other companies such as Hyundai Elevator and DOOSAN also registered declines, with Hyundai Elevator dropping by 2,800 to close at 67,300 and DOOSAN falling by 6,000 to end at 291,500.
The trading session reflected varied performances with gains in some sectors counterbalanced by losses in others. Notable upward movements included companies like KorZinc and OCI Holdings, which increased by 15,000 and 4,300 respectively. Conversely, significant declines were observed in companies such as LS ELECTRIC and CJ LOGISTICS, decreasing by 1,100 and 1,300 respectively.
