Seoul: LIG Nex1 Co. on Thursday announced its first-quarter net income of 82.8 billion won (US$59.3 million), marking an increase of 36.6 percent from the same period last year. The company's financial performance highlights a robust start to the year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the defense contractor reported that its operating profit for the January to March period experienced a significant rise of 69.6 percent year-on-year, reaching 113.6 billion won. The company's sales also saw a substantial increase, climbing 18.9 percent to 907.6 billion won.
The figures indicate a strong upward trend in LIG Nex1's financial performance, showcasing growth in both profitability and revenue. The company's strategic initiatives and operational efficiencies appear to be contributing factors to the positive results for the first quarter of the year.
