Seoul: The KOSPI 200 stocks on the Korea Stock Exchange witnessed notable fluctuations as they closed on Friday. The market saw both upward and downward movements across various companies, reflecting a dynamic trading session.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanssem's shares closed at 41,550 KRW, marking a decrease of 100 KRW. F and F also experienced a downturn, closing at 68,800 KRW, down by 700 KRW. On the other hand, HITEJINRO saw an upward movement, increasing by 130 KRW to close at 19,420 KRW. Yuhan's shares fell by 800 KRW, closing at 106,200 KRW.
SLCORP faced a significant drop of 1,050 KRW, bringing its closing price to 32,000 KRW. CJ LOGISTICS, however, saw its shares rise by 300 KRW to end at 79,500 KRW, whereas CJ experienced a decline, closing at 124,500 KRW, down by 1,900 KRW. LX INT's price remained unchanged at 27,950 KRW.
Further fluctuations were observed with SBHC, which rose by 160 KRW to close at 18,630 KRW, and TaihanElecWire, which dropped by 150 KRW, closing at 12,130 KRW. Hyundai M and F INS fell by 250 KRW, ending at 22,200 KRW, while Daesang saw a sharp decline of 2,050 KRW, closing at 22,400 KRW.
SKNetworks and ORION Holdings showed mixed results, with SKNetworks dropping by 20 KRW to 4,040 KRW, and ORION Holdings increasing by 40 KRW to 18,890 KRW. KCC observed a notable drop of 6,000 KRW, closing at 259,000 KRW.
Meanwhile, TCC STEEL experienced a decline of 620 KRW, closing at 18,500 KRW. LotteChilsung saw a decrease of 600 KRW, ending at 102,600 KRW, while AMOREPACIFIC Holdings fell by 50 KRW to 22,700 KRW. HyundaiMtr's shares rose by 900 KRW, closing at 193,800 KRW.
SeAH Steel Holdings witnessed an increase of 6,000 KRW to close at 223,500 KRW. Daewoong also went up by 150 KRW, closing at 20,500 KRW. TaekwangInd saw a rise of 4,000 KRW, ending at 871,000 KRW. In contrast, KAL experienced a decline of 300 KRW, closing at 22,350 KRW.
LG Corp. saw a decrease of 300 KRW, closing at 68,600 KRW. KG Mobility fell by 35 KRW to 3,380 KRW, while POSCO FUTURE M experienced a significant drop of 3,500 KRW, closing at 111,000 KRW. LOTTE Fine Chem's shares dropped by 200 KRW, ending at 36,100 KRW.
HYUNDAI STEEL also saw a decline, closing at 25,000 KRW, down by 800 KRW. However, Shinsegae witnessed an increase of 300 KRW, finishing at 168,700 KRW. CosmoAM and T's shares fell by 1,700 KRW, closing at 33,600 KRW, whereas Nongshim saw a substantial rise of 39,000 KRW, closing at 454,000 KRW.
SGBC experienced a decline of 3,400 KRW, closing at 69,500 KRW. DOOSAN saw a significant increase of 12,500 KRW, ending at 404,500 KRW. DL's shares rose by 1,600 KRW, closing at 40,450 KRW, while HANMISemi saw a substantial increase of 9,600 KRW, closing at 91,500 KRW.
Lastly, HANKOOK and COMPANY experienced a decline of 140 KRW, closing at 16,600 KRW, while KIA CORP. saw its shares rise by 800 KRW, closing at 92,000 KRW. SK hynix also experienced an increase of 4,000 KRW, ending at 204,500 KRW.
