KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements as Key Stocks Shift

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced varied shifts in the stock market, with significant movements in several key companies. Among the notable changes, POSCO International saw a decrease, closing at 45,900, down by 700. Similarly, CJ CheilJedang declined to 223,000, falling by 3,500, and NCsoft experienced a drop of 4,800, closing at 150,800.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies also recorded notable changes. Hanchem's share price fell to 118,200, a decrease of 1,000. DWS saw a minor decline, closing at 29,150, down by 200. On the positive side, KEPCO and Hyundai Elevator recorded increases, closing at 30,700 and 73,900, respectively, with KEPCO up by 1,000 and Hyundai Elevator by 1,900.

SamsungSecu and Korea Aerospace also witnessed upward trends, closing at 56,100 and 87,600, respectively. SamsungSecu was up by 100, while Korea Aerospace increased by 500. On the contrary, Kumho Tire and Hanon Systems experienced declines, closing at 4,205 and 3,075, respectively, with Kumho Tire down by 30 and Hanon Systems by 75.

Other notable movements included COWAY, which saw a significant rise, closing at 95,100, up by 4,900. POSCO DX and Lotte Shopping experienced declines, closing at 20,250 and 77,500, respectively. While POSCO DX decreased by 900, Lotte Shopping fell by 500.
