Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a range of movements as trading closed, with several companies experiencing gains while others faced declines. Notable changes were observed across various sectors, reflecting the broader market trends.
According to Yonhap News Agency, MIRAE ASSET SEC observed an increase, with shares rising by 160 to close at 13,590. Conversely, SKC saw a decline, dropping 3,500 to finish at 86,000. GS Retail experienced a slight uptick, increasing by 70 to settle at 13,700, whereas OTOKI remained unchanged at 386,000.
YoulchonChem's stock fell by 650, closing at 26,800, while HYOSUNG HEAVY saw a significant rise, ending at 600,000, up by 7,000. LG Energy Solution's shares decreased by 6,500 to 268,000. HtlShilla also faced a drop, down 700 to 48,250.
Hanmi Science and Hanssem closed on a positive note, with increases of 150 and 200, ending at 33,050 and 40,650, respectively. F and F experienced a notable rise, gaining 2,400 to close at 75,500. In contrast, SamsungElecMech fell by 1,500, closing at 117,300.
HDKSOE and YoungoneHoldings reported gains, closing at 288,500 and 114,700, up by 500 and 5,000, respectively. OCI Holdings decreased by 2,400 to 65,200, while LS ELECTRIC rose by 4,500 to 254,500.
KorZinc and SamsungHvyInd experienced declines, closing at 778,000 and 14,430, down by 2,000 and 70, respectively. HD HYUNDAI MIPO saw an increase of 5,200, ending at 182,600, while S-Oil gained 100 to close at 50,700.
LG Innotek and LOTTE CHEMICAL Corp faced declines, closing at 139,300 and 56,400, down by 1,400 and 600, respectively. HMM remained unchanged at 22,200, while HYUNDAI WIA rose by 200 to 40,250.
KumhoPetrochem and SeAH Steel Holdings reported gains, ending at 108,900 and 224,000, up by 800 and 4,000, respectively. Mobis and HANWHA AEROSPACE experienced declines, closing at 242,000 and 830,000, down by 4,000 and 3,000.
LX INT and Daesang showed stability, with LX INT rising by 300 to 27,300, while Daesang remained unchanged at 21,250. SKNetworks saw a minor increase, closing at 3,940, up by 15.
ORION Holdings and Daewoong faced declines, closing at 18,150 and 19,800, down by 60 and 500, respectively. SKBS decreased by 1,250 to 42,850, while MiwonComcl fell by 3,100 to 181,100.
KCC ended with a gain, rising by 1,500 to 272,000, while SKBP and SamyangFood showed mixed results, with SKBP declining by 400 to 89,800 and SamyangFood rising by 18,000 to 1,143,000.
