Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mixture of gains and losses in its latest closing prices. Notable changes were observed in the stock prices of several major companies. Mobis saw an increase of 11,000, closing at 254,000. HANWHA AEROSPACE experienced a decline, closing at 832,000, down by 55,000. Similarly, S-1's stock rose to 66,000, up by 1,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanchem and DWS also posted gains, closing at 123,900 and 30,600, respectively. Meanwhile, KEPCO experienced a slight decline, closing at 30,300, down by 300. SamsungSecu, on the other hand, increased by 800, reaching a closing price of 57,100. SKTelecom's stock slightly declined by 100, ending at 51,700.
Other notable movements included Hyundai Elevator, which decreased by 500 to 75,600, and SAMSUNG SDS, which saw a decline of 1,000, closing at 132,700. KOREA AEROSPACE fell to 84,000, down by 5,100. Conversely, KUMHOTIRE and Hanon Systems recorded gains, closing higher at 4,270 and 3,065, respectively.
SK's stock price surged by 16,100, closing at 156,200, while COWAY's stock fell by 600 to 91,000. POSCO DX saw an increase of 900, closing at 21,700. LOTTE SHOPPING experienced a slight decline, ending at 77,100, down by 200. IBK's stock also decreased by 20, closing at 15,450.
The day also saw DONGSUH maintaining its stock price at 25,350, while SamsungE and A declined by 200 to 21,550. SAMSUNG C and T rose by 700, closing at 151,200. PanOcean and SAMSUNG CARD both recorded gains, closing at 3,650 and 43,300, respectively. CheilWorldwide ended the day up by 110, at 18,210.
LOTTE WELLFOOD's stock increased by 3,000, closing at 114,400, while KT closed down 500 at 50,800. LG Uplus fell by 50 to 12,810, and SAMSUNG LIFE recorded a decline of 500, closing at 96,500. KT and G ended the day at 122,600, down by 900. Doosan Enerbility and Doosanfc also saw declines, closing at 39,800 and 16,190, respectively.
LG Display's stock rose by 300, reaching 8,390, while HyundaiEng and Const fell by 1,200, closing at 60,800. Nongshim's stock decreased by 4,500, ending at 416,000. LG Corp. and SGBC saw increases, closing at 69,600 and 67,400, respectively. KG Mobility and LOTTE Fine Chem also posted gains, ending at 3,420 and 37,300. HYUNDAI STEEL recorded an increase of 1,750, closing at 27,950, while Kangwonland experienced a slight decline, closing at 17,120, down by 10.
