KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements as HD Hyundai and Others Gain Ground

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index exhibited varied movements today, with several companies experiencing significant gains while others faced declines. Notably, HD Hyundai emerged as one of the top performers, closing at 108,700, marking an increase of 11,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Hankook Tire and Technology saw an increase of 550, closing at 38750. Kolmar Korea also witnessed a positive movement, rising by 900 to close at 83,000. In contrast, Samsung Biologics experienced a downturn, dropping by 2,000 to end at 1,026,000.

HD Hyundai Electric followed the upward trend, finishing at 383,000 with an increase of 3,500. Meanwhile, Krafton faced a decline, closing at 377,500, down by 5,500. Other notable movements included Doosan Bobcat, which rose by 900 to 47,200, and Netmarble, which fell by 600 to close at 51,000.

In the technology sector, SK ie technology gained 100, closing at 21,250, whereas SKSQUARE saw a significant rise of 5,000, ending at 113,200. Conversely, HYBE declined by 7,000, closing at 272,000.

The construction and retail sectors also saw mixed results, with Hyundai Engineering and Construction climbing by 6,100 to 66,900, and BGF Retail increasing by 1,000 to 103,000. On the downside, APR dropped by 1,000 to close at 114,300.
