Seoul: The latest trading session for the KOSPI 200 index has registered a variety of movements among major stocks. Notable increases were observed in several companies, while others experienced declines.
According to Yonhap News Agency, KIWOOM saw a substantial rise, closing at 191,400, marking an increase of 16,200. On the other hand, Hanwha Ocean experienced a decrease, closing at 75,600, down by 2,400. HD Hyundai Infracore slightly dipped, closing at 9,380, a decline of 20. Meanwhile, HANMISemi increased to 83,500, up by 800.
DWEC and L and F both saw decreases, closing at 4,470 and 51,400, down by 65 and 5,400, respectively. KEPCO KPS and ShinhanGroup recorded increases, with KEPCO KPS closing at 44,500, up by 50, and ShinhanGroup at 60,400, up by 1,200.
In terms of unchanged stocks, LG H and H and LGCHEM maintained their previous closing prices at 340,500 and 201,500, respectively. KEPCO E and C increased by 200, closing at 73,400. HYUNDAI ROTEM, however, decreased by 2,100, closing at 153,400.
LGELECTRONICS and Celltrion saw increases, closing at 72,900 and 160,200, up by 500 and 3,100, respectively. TKG Huchems and JB Financial Group experienced minor declines, closing at 16,230 and 18,960, down by 60 and 200, respectively.
DAEWOONG PHARM and HYUNDAIDEPTST both increased, closing at 162,000 and 72,200, up by 1,400 each. KIH and BGF Retail also saw significant increases, closing at 117,800 and 123,900, up by 3,700 and 12,400, respectively.
GS and LIG Nex1 closed at 47,550 and 440,000, with GS increasing by 2,000 and LIG Nex1 decreasing by 9,500. Misto Holdings remained unchanged at 35,450. HYUNDAIGLOVIS and HANAFINANCIALGR both marked increases, closing at 121,500 and 77,600, up by 3,600 and 4,100, respectively.
Other notable movements include AMOREPACIFIC's increase to 139,900, up by 2,600, and SK Innovation's rise to 93,300, up by 1,200. Poongsan also increased to 66,000, up by 1,100, while HyundaiEng and Const rose to 68,300, up by 300.
Kakaopay experienced a significant increase, closing at 49,500, up by 11,400. Meanwhile, HL MANDO rose slightly, closing at 34,150, up by 250. SAMSUNG BIOLOGICS also marked a notable increase, closing at 1,033,000, up by 14,000. KBFinancialGroup rose to 110,700, up by 4,400.
Hansae and Youngone Corp also saw increases, closing at 10,900 and 60,800, up by 30 and 200, respectively. GKL and KOLON IND both recorded increases, closing at 14,660 and 33,150, up by 280 and 350, respectively. CSWIND remained unchanged at 49,850.
