Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index has shown a mixture of declines and gains among its listed companies, reflecting a varied trading session. Notable declines were observed in several key companies, with HanmiPharm closing at 290,500, down by 4,500, and Samsung Biologics decreasing by 5,000 to 999,000. Additionally, KakaoBank experienced a significant drop of 5,250 to close at 31,350.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies such as HD Hyundai and HD Hyundai Electric also faced downward trends, with declines of 2,900 and 13,000, respectively. On the other hand, certain companies experienced upward movement; SKCHEM rose by 4,000 to 73,000, while HS Hyosung Advanced saw an increase of 6,000, closing at 211,000.
Further analysis revealed that KRAFTON's stock rose by 1,500 to settle at 358,500, and MIWON SC experienced a gain of 3,800, reaching 147,100. Meanwhile, Hanwha Vision showed a notable increase, climbing 4,700 to 54,200, as HankukCarbon also rose by 1,450 to 26,150.
Despite the mixed results, some companies remained stable, such as emart and kakaopay, which closed at 87,000 and 93,800, respectively, with no change in their stock prices. Overall, the trading session highlighted the dynamic nature of the KOSPI 200 index, with both positive and negative movements across various sectors.
