Seoul: Ha Jung-woo is set to make his television comeback after nearly two decades in an upcoming tvN drama, as announced by the production's PR agency on Thursday. The series, titled "How to Become a Building Owner in South Korea," will feature Ha in the role of Soo-jong, a landlord contending with the financial burdens of interest payments on his building, leading him into a criminal entanglement.
According to Yonhap News Agency, this marks Ha's first television appearance since his role in MBC's 2007 drama "H.I.T." Co-starring with Ha is Im Soo-jung, who will portray Soo-jong's wife. Im Soo-jung is known for her recent work in the 2023 film "Single in Seoul."
The series will be directed by Im Phil-sung, recognized for his work on Netflix's "Persona" in 2019. Meanwhile, novelist Oh Han-ki will venture into scriptwriting for the series, marking his debut in this capacity. The eagerly awaited drama is set to premiere in the first half of next year.
