Seoul: The KOSPI 200 observed varied movements among its listed stocks, with both gains and losses recorded across major companies. LGCHEM saw an increase of 3,500, closing at 216,000, while HYUNDAI ROTEM also experienced an uptick of 4,900, ending at 196,700. In contrast, KEPCO E and C faced a decline of 4,200, settling at 110,700.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other significant movements included LGELECTRONICS and ShinhanGroup, which fell by 1,400 and 900, closing at 74,700 and 59,700, respectively. On the upside, KDHC and SBHC posted gains of 2,500 and 750, closing at 89,900 and 30,850, respectively.
Additional fluctuations were seen as L and F decreased by 1,200 to 52,200, while Misto Holdings rose by 1,150 to 34,650. Meanwhile, AMOREPACIFIC experienced a drop of 5,900, ending at 132,900, and KIH fell by 4,000 to 142,300.
Companies such as HYUNDAIGLOVIS and POONGSAN recorded increases, with HYUNDAIGLOVIS up by 800 to 137,300 and POONGSAN rising by 1,000 to 131,400. Conversely, Daewoo PHARM declined by 1,100 to 144,400, and SK Innovation decreased by 700 to 100,300.
In the financial sector, KBFinancialGroup and HANAFINANCIALGR showed gains of 400 and 300, closing at 109,900 and 83,500, respectively. On the other hand, WooriFinancialGroup increased slightly by 50 to 22,550, while JB Financial Group decreased by 500, closing at 20,600.
