Seoul: A gas pipe was ruptured by an excavator at a construction site in the capital's Seocho district, authorities said Friday. The incident led to a gas leak near Seoul National University of Education Station around 10:47 a.m., prompting emergency measures to be taken by authorities.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Seoul Metro has announced that trains on Line 2 and Line 3 will pass through the affected station without stopping as a precaution following the incident. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in connection with the gas leak.
