Seoul: The closing prices of KOSPI 200 stocks on the main Korea Stock Exchange on Monday showed a mix of gains and declines. Among the stocks that saw an increase, SBHC closed at 33,450 KRW, marking a rise of 2,550 KRW. TaihanElecWire increased slightly by 60 KRW to close at 15,530 KRW, while Daesang rose by 150 KRW to reach 22,900 KRW. ORION Holdings and KCC saw increases of 1,250 KRW and 1,000 KRW, closing at 23,100 KRW and 317,000 KRW, respectively.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other significant gainers included LotteChilsung, which rose by 4,300 KRW to 131,000 KRW, and SamyangFood, which saw a substantial increase of 65,000 KRW, closing at 1,334,000 KRW. TaekwangInd also experienced a notable rise of 30,000 KRW, reaching 1,074,000 KRW. Hyundai Steel and LS closed higher by 600 KRW and 2,700 KRW, at 35,350 KRW and 176,000 KRW, respectively.
Conversely, several stocks experienced declines. Hyundai M and F INS dropped by 300 KRW to 27,050 KRW, and TCC STEEL fell by 490 KRW to 17,060 KRW. HyundaiMtr and MiwonComcl saw decreases of 2,000 KRW and 3,400 KRW, closing at 208,500 KRW and 163,600 KRW, respectively. POSCO INTERNATIONAL and CJ CheilJedang also declined by 2,150 KRW and 1,000 KRW to 49,850 KRW and 260,500 KRW.
Additional declines were noted in POSCO FUTURE M, which dropped by 4,600 KRW to 126,600 KRW, and POSCO Holdings, which decreased by 3,000 KRW to 313,500 KRW. SamsungElec and Shinsegae also saw reductions, closing at 61,700 KRW and 187,400 KRW, respectively. GC Corp, GS E and C, and other stocks also experienced minor decreases.
