South Korean Bond Yields Show Minor Fluctuations Across Maturities

Seoul: South Korean bond yields experienced minor fluctuations across various maturities on July 9, 2025. The 1-year Treasury Bond yield slightly decreased from the previous session, moving from 2.310% to 2.309%, marking a decrease of 0.1 basis points. Similarly, the 2-year Treasury Bond yield fell by 0.7 basis points, settling at 2.435% from 2.442% in the prior session.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 3-year Treasury Bond yield showed a slight increase, moving up by 0.1 basis points to 2.478% from the previous 2.477%. The 10-year Treasury Bond yield also saw an increase, rising by 0.7 basis points to 2.854% from 2.847%.

In the Monetary Stabilization Bond sector, the 2-year MSB yield slightly decreased by 0.1 basis points, moving from 2.420% to 2.419%. The 3-year Corporate Bond (AA-) yield also experienced a decrease of 0.1 basis points, settling at 2.967% from the previous 2.968%.

Additionally, the 91-day Certificate of Deposit yield increased by 1.0 basis point, moving from 2.500% to 2.510%. These changes reflect a mix of slight increases and decreases in bond yields across different maturities.
