Seoul: Trading on the Korea Stock Exchange saw mixed results for KOSPI 200 stocks on Wednesday, with notable gains and declines among major companies. CJ Logistics experienced an increase, closing at 93,600 KRW, up by 3,900 KRW. Doosan also saw a rise, finishing at 606,000 KRW, marking an increase of 5,000 KRW.
According to Yonhap News Agency, some companies faced declines, including Hyosung Heavy, which closed at 943,000 KRW, down by 17,000 KRW. Similarly, LG Energy Solution decreased by 2,000 KRW to end at 305,000 KRW. On the other hand, Samsung F and M Insurance saw a significant gain, rising by 15,500 KRW to a closing price of 478,500 KRW.
The day's trading demonstrated a mix of positive and negative movements across various sectors. Samyang Food recorded one of the highest gains, closing at 1,479,000 KRW with an increase of 43,000 KRW. Conversely, CJ CheilJedang saw a decline, falling by 4,500 KRW to 254,000 KRW. Hyundai Motor also experienced a drop, closing at 209,500 KRW, down by 1,500 KRW.
Other notable movements included KCC, which rose by 29,500 KRW to close at 356,000 KRW, and LG Corp., which increased by 3,300 KRW, reaching 82,200 KRW. The results reflect the varied performance among KOSPI 200 stocks, highlighting both gains and losses within the market.
