Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index reflected a mixed performance with several companies experiencing significant declines, while others marked gains. The index's fluctuations were highlighted by the closing prices of notable companies across various sectors.
According to Yonhap News Agency, iM Financial Group saw a decrease in its stock price, closing at 14,980, down by 20. emart and DENTIUM experienced similar declines, each dropping by 2,200 to close at 96,200 and 69,700, respectively. HANKOOK TIRE and TECHNOLOGY reported a closing price of 44,300, down by 200.
KOLMAR KOREA and HANJINKAL were among the companies with substantial declines, with prices dropping by 3,300 and 7,400, ending at 105,900 and 122,600, respectively. CHONGKUNDANG, DoubleUGames, and HL MANDO also saw their prices fall, with reductions of 400, 800, and 100, respectively.
SAMSUNG BIOLOGICS recorded a notable decrease, closing at 1,057,000, down by 23,000. In contrast, Doosan Bobcat and KRAFTON experienced price increases, closing at 56,600 and 353,500, up by 400 and 500, respectively.
HD HYUNDAI and its electric division saw declines, with the latter dropping by 17,500 to end at 442,500. Other companies such as ORION, HANWHA SYSTEMS, and BGF Retail also faced downturns in their stock prices, while MIWON SC and APR reported gains.
HYOSUNG TNC and HS HYOSUNG ADVANCED recorded price increases, closing at 266,500 and 214,500, respectively. Meanwhile, companies like WooriFinancialGroup and Hanwha Vision also marked increases, closing higher than previous figures.
The stock prices of SK ie technology, DL E and C, and kakaopay reported mixed results, with some experiencing declines and others noting gains. OCI Holdings and ISUSPECIALTYCHEMICAL ended the day with positive changes in their stock prices.
