Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced mixed movements in its recent session, with several companies witnessing notable gains while others faced declines.
According to Yonhap News Agency, among the gainers, Mobis saw a substantial increase, closing at 314,500 with a rise of 8,000. Samsung C and T also experienced significant upward movement, increasing by 11,400 to close at 183,700. Other notable gainers included SK, which rose by 6,000 to reach 225,500, and KT and G, which climbed 4,300 to close at 140,700.
Conversely, several companies experienced declines. Kakaopay saw a sharp drop, losing 9,900 to close at 69,700. Hanchem also faced a significant decrease, closing at 174,300, down by 5,200. Other companies such as HD HYUNDAI MIPO and LG Innotek saw declines of 1,800, closing at 177,300 and 155,500, respectively.
These movements reflect the varied performance of companies within the KOSPI 200, with fluctuations in both directions highlighting the dynamic nature of the market.
