Seoul: HD Hyundai Infracore Co. reported a significant decrease in its net profit for the second quarter, with earnings dropping 56.4 percent to 27.5 billion won (US$20 million) compared to the same period last year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company announced these results in a regulatory filing, highlighting an improvement in operating income which increased by 29.8 percent to 105.8 billion won during the April-June period. The company's sales also experienced a rise, growing by 6.9 percent to 1.18 trillion won.
Despite the decline in net profits, the rise in operating income and sales indicates a mixed financial performance for the quarter.
