Seoul: Doosan Co. on Friday reported its second-quarter net profit of 233.2 billion won (US$169.1 million), marking an increase of 7.8 percent from the same period last year. The company disclosed these figures in a regulatory filing, highlighting its financial performance during the April-June period.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Doosan's operating income for the second quarter rose by 6.3 percent year-on-year, reaching 357.8 billion won. Additionally, the company experienced a 16.4 percent increase in sales, totaling 5.34 trillion won. These results underscore Doosan's growth trajectory in the second quarter.
