Doosan Robotics Remains in Red in Q2

Seoul: Doosan Robotics Inc. on Monday reported its second-quarter net loss of 16.6 billion won (US$12 million), remaining in the red compared with a year ago. The company said in a regulatory filing that it continued to post an operating loss of 15.7 billion won for the April-June period, compared with a loss of 7.9 billion won a year earlier. Revenue fell 68.6 percent to 4.5 billion won.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the financial performance of Doosan Robotics highlights ongoing challenges. The company's revenue for the second quarter showed a significant decline, dropping by 68.6 percent to 4.5 billion won. Despite efforts to mitigate losses, the operating loss has nearly doubled from the previous year.

The report indicates a tough period for Doosan Robotics, with net losses persisting and revenue declining sharply. This financial outcome underscores the difficulties faced by the company in stabilizing its financial footing and improving its performance in the competitive robotics market.
