KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Performance with Significant Movements in Tech and Manufacturing Sectors

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a range of performances across various sectors, with notable movements observed in technology and manufacturing stocks. Samsung SDS saw an increase, closing at 159,600 with a rise of 2,100, while Korea Aerospace experienced a decline, closing at 94,500, down by 6,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, SK Telecom's shares rose by 900, reaching a closing price of 56,000. In contrast, Hyundai Elevator's shares decreased by 400, ending at 80,900. Notably, Kumho Tire showed a marginal decrease, closing at 4,735, down by 5.

Hanon Systems experienced an upward movement, closing at 3,390 with an increase of 135. Meanwhile, SK saw a decrease of 1,000, closing at 203,000. Coway's shares fell by 2,700, closing at 110,500.

Other significant changes included POSCO DX, which increased by 300, closing at 26,000, and Lotte Shopping, which rose by 400, ending at 71,800. IBK's shares saw an increase of 260, closing at 19,500, while SK hynix rose by 1,000, ending at 263,500.

In other movements, Hanwha's shares declined by 1,800 to close at 95,000, and CJ saw a decrease of 500, ending at 152,900. Taihan Electric Wire closed at 15,610, down by 170, and SBHC experienced a decrease of 1,100, closing at 31,300.

Hyundai Marine and Fire Insurance rose by 200, closing at 26,500, while DONGSUH saw a slight decrease, closing at 29,800, down by 100. Samsung C and T experienced a significant rise, closing at 175,500 with an increase of 2,600.

In the shipping sector, PanOcean's shares declined marginally by 55, closing at 4,185, while Hanwha Ocean rose by 2,200, ending at 99,000. Samsung Card saw an increase of 450, closing at 49,750.

Lotte Wellfood experienced a significant rise, closing at 124,600, up by 2,200. Meanwhile, KT and Hanatour Service saw no change, remaining at 54,600 and 53,600, respectively.

Cosmax experienced a substantial increase of 6,500, closing at 244,000, while Hanmi Semiconductor rose by 1,500, ending at 85,900. LG Uplus and Samsung Life also saw increases, closing at 14,630 and 127,300, respectively.

HD Hyundai Infracore experienced a decline, closing at 15,350, down by 400, while KT and G fell by 300, ending at 131,500. Doosan Enerbility's shares decreased by 1,400, closing at 63,700, and Kangwonland saw a decline of 700, ending at 18,460.
