Seoul: Samsung Electronics Co. announced Tuesday that domestic sales of its latest Galaxy S25 series smartphone have reached 3 million units this month, indicating the flagship model's strong popularity.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the milestone was achieved last Friday, approximately two months ahead of schedule compared to the S25's predecessor. The Galaxy S25 was released globally in February.
The Galaxy S25 series is equipped with advanced on-device artificial intelligence, offering multimodal capabilities and personalized assistance functions. Samsung highlighted that its subscription plan, which promises a buy-back of the device at up to 50 percent of the retail price after one year, has been instrumental in attracting more users.
The company also noted that sales of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and its clamshell-style counterpart, the Galaxy Z Flip 7, are significantly higher than those of their predecessors, though no further sales figures were provided.
