Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remained unchanged across all terms as of 11:00 a.m., according to the latest figures released by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information division of Yonhap News Agency.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the KORIBOR rates for the 1-week, 1-month, 2-month, and 3-month terms remained steady at 2.50 percent, showing no fluctuation from the previous session. Similarly, the 6-month term held firm at a rate of 2.52 percent, and the 12-month term continued to be fixed at 2.51 percent.
The stability in the KORIBOR reflects a consistent trend in the interbank lending rates in South Korea, indicating a period of financial steadiness in the market. The lack of changes in these rates suggests a balanced interbank market environment, with no immediate pressures affecting short to medium-term lending rates.
