KOSPI 200 Index Sees Mixed Performance with Notable Declines in Key Stocks

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a mixed trading session, marked by significant fluctuations in the stock prices of several major companies. Among the notable movements, HD Hyundai Electric, emart, and Samsung Biologics saw considerable declines, while a few companies like Netmarble and DoubleUGames registered gains.

According to Yonhap News Agency, HD Hyundai Electric's stock price fell by 24,000, closing at 473,500. Emart also saw a decrease, ending the session at 80,000, which is down by 7,200. Samsung Biologics experienced a decline of 11,000, closing at 1,021,000.

In contrast, some companies reported gains. Netmarble's stock price increased by 1,600, closing at 58,200. DoubleUGames also saw a rise, ending at 54,200, up by 700.

Other companies that faced declines include KOLMAR KOREA, which closed at 80,000, down by 600, and Doosan Bobcat, which decreased by 600 to close at 56,100. CJ also experienced a significant drop of 5,200, closing at 155,000.

Meanwhile, HANKOOK TIRE and TECHNOLOGY closed at 447,50, up by 250, and Hyundai M and F INS increased by 500 to close at 26,850. WooriFinancialGroup saw a slight increase, closing at 25,100, up by 150.

Overall, the session reflected a mix of gains and losses among various sectors, with key players facing downward trends while a few managed to gain ground in the market.
