Seoul: Hanon Systems Co. on Thursday reported its second-quarter net loss of 15.1 billion won (US$10.9 million), remaining in the red compared with a year ago. The company released its financial results through a regulatory filing, providing insights into its performance for the April-June period.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanon Systems' operating profit during the second quarter fell 10.2 percent from the previous year, amounting to 64.3 billion won. Despite the decline in operating profit, the company's revenue saw an increase of 11.7 percent, totaling 2.85 trillion won. The results highlight the challenges Hanon Systems is facing in balancing profitability with revenue growth.
